  • Shannon McGuire

    Shannon McGuire is the Founder and President of the Project 8B Foundation—bringing more than 15 years of experience leading leaders and guiding high-impact initiatives that strengthen communities.

    As a strategist, speaker, mentor, and coach she has advised cross-sector collaborations, facilitated statewide partnerships, and led programs recognized for improving mental and emotional well-being.

    Known for blending strategic clarity with heart-led insight, Shannon navigates complex conversations, bridges divides, and turns bold ideas into action.

    A proud mom of four and grandmother of one, she sees motherhood as a powerful source of wisdom and leadership—believing the skills that raise strong families also build strong communities.

  • Jamie Jo Scott

    Jamie Jo Scott has been a longtime leader in Idaho’s philanthropic and nonprofit community. She is the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Family Foundation Board Chair, having previously served as the community grants coordinator, board member, treasurer, and executive director (2008–2014). She has been active in the non-profit community as serving on the boards of Bogus Basin Recreational Association, Bishop Kelly Foundation, Boise Art Museum, and the Special Olympics World Winter Games.

    In 2018, Jamie was selected for the highly regarded Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship, joining a national network of leaders reimagining America’s public schools.

    A Boise native and mother of two, she brings deep experience, entrepreneurial vision, and a passion for accelerating opportunities in Idaho.
